About

I'm Flatlander, an independent game developer and the one person behind Calm Dog Developer. I'm building Flatlander's Multiverse™ — an open-world 2D isometric MMORPG.

I began my software-development career making mods, open-source servers, and freelance projects in the OTLand community. I'm best known for Species, Species RPG, Heartless's Rise of Abbadon, and the "Flatlander Mod" for Audioshield.

I've also written tutorials and contributed pull requests to The Forgotten Server — the open-source engine used to build 2D tile-based MMORPGs — directly relevant experience for the game I'm building today.
